How do you calculate your life path number?

• Write your date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format. Add up all the digits. If the number exceeds 9, then add the digits of this new number. Keep doing this until you hit a single digit. So, for example, if your birthday is 27/09/1998, your life path number would be 2+7+0+9+1+9+9+8, which is 45. And 4 + 5 = 9. So your life path number would be 9.

• You can also add up the digits in your date, month, and year separately then add them together. So for 27/09/1998, it would be (2+7) + (0+9) + (1 + 9 + 9 + 8). That adds up to 9 + 9 + 27, which is 45, and 4 + 5 = 9.

The result will be the same, no matter which method you pick.

Like with almost all mathematical rules, this one has a couple of exceptions. If the digits in your birth date, month, and year add up to 11, 22, 33, or 44 (master numbers), you do not have to add these digits to arrive at a single digit.
