The logic behind doshas determining hair quality lies in how each dosha’s elemental composition influences bodily tissues. For instance:

  1. Vata Dosha (Air and Space): People with a dominant Vata dosha often have dry, brittle, and frizzy hair. The air and space elements contribute to this dryness, making the hair more prone to split ends and breakage. Issues like dandruff and a rough texture are common among those with a Vata imbalance.

  2. Pitta Dosha (Fire and Water): Those with a dominant Pitta dosha typically have fine, soft hair that is prone to oiliness. The fire element can lead to premature greying and thinning, while the water element can cause excess oil production. Pitta imbalances often result in hair loss and scalp inflammation.
