Why you should look forward to Ajio Luxe Wkend 2024

In its fourth edition, the three-day event from 12-14 January is a celebration of thoughtful conversations around luxury

It’s 2024, and the definition of luxury has expanded to include not only superlative craftsmanship and exclusivity but, rather paradoxically, a spirit of inclusivity and compassion as well. With evolving times where millennials and Gen Zs are now largely helming dialogue fueling change—including conversations on luxury—Ajio Luxe Wkend 2024, in its fourth edition, aims to take a holistic, closer look at how different disciplines coalesce into what we understand as luxury, and promises to be a shopping experience like no other.

These dialogues at Ajio Luxe Wkend, to be held from 12-14 January at Jio World Garden in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex, will be hosted in association with Chivas Glassware and HSBC, with unparalleled retail therapy with over 250+ brands across 14 categories.

Mercury Retrograde: Magic or Mayhem

On the opening night, the Internet’s favourite buzzword—“Mercury Retrograde”—is all set to be navigated, in association with Chivas Glassware and HSBC. Hosted by the ALW curators—stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania, designer Ashiesh Shah, and gallerist Aparajita Jain—the event will explore the mystique and unpredictability of this cosmic occurrence, as it unravels as a unique, yet dramatic presence in the spheres of fashion, art, design, music, and culinary experiences. The segment will also showcase a captivating performance, which gathers inspiration from the astrological event that is characterised by the alleged backward motion of the planet Mercury—widely associated with disruptions in communication, technological glitches, and overall chaos.
