The films and shows premiering on streaming platforms this month comprise a mixed bag that packs some real-life drama, a dose of fictional horror, but a whole lot of adventure in every genre.

BeckhamThis docu-series gives viewers access into a never-seen-before side of the life of the celebrated English footballer, David Beckham. From his modest beginnings as the child of working-class parents, he has shown promise since a young age, only proving that he possessed the skills and drive to play in the biggest leagues.But as Beckham’s fledgling football career skyrocketed, so did his popularity. It was only a matter of time before his professional and personal life would become the talk of town. Her key mission involves nabbing the mole responsible for leaking India's defence strategies to enemy states.Simultaneously, she faces the challenge of juggling her covert life as a spy with her personal life. The film drops on 5 October, and stars Tabu, Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles.Streaming platform: Netflix

Khufiya
