October revolutionises auto elegance, unveiling masterpieces that blend heritage, futuristic innovation, and unparalleled luxury

In a month where the auto industry could have  perhaps simply revved along, October shifts gears into overdrive.

Aston Martin DB12

In a bold move, Aston Martin introduces the world to its "super tourer"—the DB12. Positioned at ₹4.59 crore in India, this grand tourer is a triumphant successor to the DB11, embodying 110 years of the brand's legacy. Gregory Adams, Regional President - Asia, termed its launch as a moment that shines brightly in Aston Martin's illustrious journey. The vehicle’s design evolution is palpable—while the front sees a noticeable aesthetic overhaul, the rear retains a familiar charm. The tech infusion in its cockpit, adaptive dampers, stronger anti-roll bars, and a lightning-quick electronic rear differential, makes the DB12 a blend of heritage and futurism.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB

Elegance, luxury, and state-of-the-art technology intertwine in the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB. Set to grace the roads of China soon and India later next year, this long-wheelbase version is the result of German engineering and design. The enhanced legroom beckons those who seek comfort in motion. On the inside, the sedan is a testament to avant-garde design—a stunning MBUX Superscreen arrangement steals the limelight, seamlessly integrating a 12.3-inch digital driver's display, a central 14.4-inch screen, and another 12.3-inch display just for the front passenger. Sleek AC vents, touch-sensitive climate controls, and ambient lighting throughout the cabin render it a haven of refined luxury.

BMW i7 M70 xDrive

In an electrifying move, BMW charges ahead with its latest marvel—the i7 M70 xDrive. Imported to India at an impressive price tag of ₹2.50 crore, this all-electric M car has been crafted to captivate. Drawing its lineage from the seventh-generation 7 Series, it effortlessly merges BMW's signature aesthetic—a dual-tone colour scheme and the iconic kidney grille—with robust performance stats. The sheer power under its hood—650hp, 1015Nm, and a 0-100 time of just 3.7 seconds—is exhilarating. But where the car truly delights is in its pioneering tech features. Equipped with dual motors, a six-phase design, dual inverters, and six excitation windings in the motor's stator, it is a beacon of modern automotive innovation.

Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6

Drawing breaths with its audacious design, the Vision Maybach 6 Concept Coupe is a love letter to the 'classic aesthetic proportions' reminiscent of the 1970s Maybach aero coupes. Even years after its preview in 2016, its design ethos remains timeless. Every inch of its almost 6-metre frame exudes opulence—from the expansive chrome-rich grille to the boat-tail rear end. The gullwing doors add a touch of retro futurism, and the interiors are a nod to yesteryear's Maybach grandeur. But the pièce de résistance is the Augmented Reality (AR) windscreen, blurring the lines between classic luxury and modern technology.
