Emily in Paris (Season 3) on Netflix
Lily Collins’s polarising character in this Gen Z favourite may be a hit or a miss for many, yet, it’s been fun to watch Emily navigate the waters of her professional and personal lives in broken French. The second season ends on a cliffhanger as she tries to choose between two jobs, deals with heartbreak, and faces the uncomfortable truth that Gabriel has asked Camille to move in with him. While she has Alfie on her side, we don’t yet know what Emily’s decision is, and whether she will choose to stay in Paris. This and more of Emily’s eclectic fashion sense will return to Netflix on 21 December.

Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal (Vol I and II) on Netflix
If the wait for another season of The Crown is proving too long, there’s another royal drama you can train your eyes on. Netflix’s Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal takes a deeper look into the lives of the erstwhile British royals. The couple bares it all as they tell their part of the story. What got us hooked? The words “dirty game” used in the trailer. Its first installment is set to hit screens on 8 December and the second on 15 December. Brace yourself as Harry comes clean about the “hierarchy of the family,” “race,” and the planting of stories as he weighs in on the spectacle of the century that saw the couple break away from the British royal family to build a new life in the United States with their two children. This docuseries comes hot on the heels of the explosive Oprah Winfrey interview, which aired last year.

Freddy on Disney+ Hotstar
Starring Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F, this romantic thriller chronicles the life of Dr. Freddy Ginwala, a shy and awkward dentist. The film traces Ginwala’s character as he evolves from a person in love to someone who is “wronged,” setting him on the path of revenge. Directed by Sashank Ghosh, the film is peppered with unexpected twists and turns as the character navigates his lonely social life. Aaryan, who has had a big year at the box office after the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, is garnering favourable reviews for his turn as Freddy.

As Arora says on Instagram, the show is set to provide fans with an “unfiltered” view of the celebrity.

India Lockdown on Zee5
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar tackles a hard-hitting subject—the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns—with this feature film. Starring Prateik Babbar and Aahana Kumra, the OTT release explores the repercussions of the pandemic on people across sections of society in India. However, the jury is still out on whether the film does justice to the plight of the average Indian who didn't have it easy during this challenging period.
